Wallethub Lists the Best and the Worst Black Friday 2014 Deals

With the American economy in its bounce back mode, the consumers are becoming confident and increasingly ready to invest through the conventional Black Friday shopping deals.

Wallethub has come up with a list of the list of best and worst deals offered by stores for shoppers for the shopping season this year.

For the shopper's convenience, Wallethub highlighted the average discount offers categorized into departments and types of merchandize with the names of stores that are offering the best and worst deals this season.

The three topmost discount givers this year have been noted as JCPenney, Macy's and Rite Aid. The list is topped by JCPenney with an average 65 percent off on the discounted items. Macy's and Rite Aid both are at par with an average 53 percent discount offer.

The five of the retailers with the least discounts include Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, Big Lots and Costco.

The average discount being offered by Best Buy and Walmart is 32 percent each this year. However if considered category wise, then the ranks differ.

Overall, for the post-Thanksgiving sale, the most discounted category is the toy section this year. However the item that is getting the highest average discount this season is certainly noted as the jewellery section.
