The Google Glass Explorer edition is now available across the Google Play store across the US. The cost of each unit of the Glass Explorer from Google Play is $1,500; with the option of complimentary frames for the device.

Additionally, consumers can also buy accessories for the Google Glass Explorer edition, which is available in three color options: black, white, and blue. The accessories which can be purchased with Google Glass Explorer edition include shades, frame, and earbuds, among other things.

The Google Glass Explorer edition runs the Android OS version 4.4 'KitKat,' which gives the device the ability to connect with Android smartphones as well as the iPhone with the help of MyGlass app. The app is compatible with Android devices running Android 4.03 and higher; and iPhone running iOS 7 and above.
