According to recent leaks of an Xbox survey being carried out by tech biggie Microsoft, the company is asking Xbox gamers whether they would be willing to trade in their digital games for 10 percent of a game's purchase price as in-store credit.
In other words, the leaked survey has revealed that Microsoft apparently wants to know whether Xbox gamers are interested in selling their digital games in exchange for an in-store credit -- of 10 percent of the cost price of the game -- at the Xbox Store.
The poll being carried out by Microsoft implies that the company apparently wants to know whether Xbox gamers would be enticed by a 'sell back' program in which a game purchased for, say, $50 would be sold for an Xbox Store credit of $5.
The hypothetical sell-back program which Microsoft is rumored to be surveying with Xbox gamers is, as per some experts, an attractive deal for digital acquisitions, especially for digital games which will likely never be played again by a gamer.
From that perspective, the hypothetical sell-back program would seemingly be a good alternative for a digital locker crammed with thousands of unwanted games, because it would allow gamers to avail in-store credit when they part with such games.
