On Wednesday, the day on which Google generally rolls out updates to its Android apps, the company released the updated versions of two of its apps --- Google Search, and Google Play Games.
The Google Search update gives the app a new Parking Location card for Google Now. The card essentially saves the location of a user's parked vehicle, so that the vehicle can be easily located by the user. About the Parking Location card, Google said that the card makes use of the sensors of the users' Android device to know when they leave a moving vehicle.
Along with the Parking Location card, the Google Search update also brings on a new Reminders UI which offers a better arrangement of previous reminders, and also a new list of nicknames that can be found in the app's Accounts & Privacy section.
Moreover, in the updated version, Google has consolidated the app's Help' and 'Send feedback' sections into one single 'Help & feedback' menu.
Meanwhile, the most noteworthy new feature which Google has brought to the updated Google Play Games app is a redesigned slide-out navigation bar which substitutes the old 'My Activity' section with a linked profile picture of the user. In addition, notifications for gifts and requests have also been added to the updated app; and the 'Matches' section has been renamed as 'Inbox.'
