Insuring hamsters is much costlier as compared to paying for GP care for a whole year, according to doctors' opinion.

Several nations envy the system of general practice of the NHS. Here is the reason: More than merely £150 a patient is cost by GP surgeries in a year. Also, an average patient needs to spend only £30 a visit five folds per year.

The question now is whether the GPs are wrung a lot? However, questioning a profession - wherein an £100,000 a year earning is made by GPs, working as partners in a practice - could be surprising. But, a real fall of £400m in investment in GP care in last three years has demanded for more inquiry.

The Royal College of GPs released the concerning figures on the basis of the Health and Social Care Information Centre's data. It has been found that the government has not argued over the same. The report said the scenario was uncommon in the complex NHS system. Since, statistics could therein, seemingly, be chosen carefully in order to prove any possible point.

"Consultations are meant to last 10 minutes, but patients increasingly have complex conditions, they expect more and there is more we can do. There is just not enough time", said GP Vikram Tanna from Manchester.
