Bigwig device maker Samsung has recently unveiled its new 27-inch curved desktop monitor --- the S27D590CS, which, as per the company's claims, provides "the optimal screen curvature."
The new S27D590CS monitor unveiled by Samsung is scheduled to hit the US markets on October 1; and will be available at a retail cost of $430.
Measuring 24.54 by 14.40 by 2.34 inches, Samsung's new S27D590CS desktop monitor weighs slightly more than 12 pounds. It features a 1,920-by-1,080 LED display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 178-degree extra-wide viewing angle. The monitor will sit atop a curved T-shape stand; and will be capable of connecting to Macs as well as PCs.
Some of the other notable features of the S27D590CS desktop monitor include built-in 5-Watt, 2-channel dual stereo speakers, and an HDMI cable that can connect the monitor to game consoles and Blu-ray players. The monitor will feature D-Sub ports for connecting to PCs; and will come with extra graphics card to enable users to hook up two or three monitors.
In addition, Samsung has also revealed that the S27D590CS curved desktop monitor also includes a Game Mode, which "intelligently detects changes in scenes, enhances the color, and alters the screen's contrast to make the darks darker and the lights lighter."
