Nokia Lumia 930 --- the most powerful Windows Phone handset to date

The new Nokia Lumia 930 is being touted as the most powerful - and probably the best - Windows Phone handset till date. The Lumia 930 handset is essentially a redesigned version of Nokia's February-launched, Verizon-exclusive flagship device `Lumia Icon'; but does not involve the signing of an expensive two-year contract.

The Lumia 930 comes with a price-tag of US$599. Though the cost of the Lumia 930 handset is more than the Lumia Icon pricing, the new device comes with an affordable data plan - from a network other than Verizon - which can result in savings in the long run.

Some of the key features of the Lumia 930 handset include a sharp 5-inch display which balances portability and productivity; a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor; and 2 GB of RAM. The handset runs Microsoft's latest mobile operating system - Windows Phone 8.1.

In addition, the Lumia 930 handset also boasts productivity-improving features like the Action Center, which is a center for all the user's alerts and notifications. The device also features Microsoft's Cortana digital assistant which is capable of tracking the user's e-mails and calendar events to notify the user of important alerts before being asked.

Moreover, the Lumia 930 also has Microsoft Office built-in, to facilitate the synchronization of the app with the user's primary Office account so that latest versions of all documents can be easily accessed.
