According to revelations of a new report, Tommy Haas has this time beaten the hell out of Robin Haase, taking home his second Vienna title.

On Sunday, many years following the first title, Haas bagged another Austrian Open title with 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 defeat. Haase was prepared to win his third Austrian trophy after grabbing two on clay at Kitzbuehel. But, the two-and-a-quarter-hour game saw Haas turning the tables and taking the trophy.

In 2001, Haas had realized his first victory. A year earlier, he had lost the final to Tim Henman, the report said. Haas said that after such a long time, it was really great to have won the title.

It has been found that at present, Haas is at provisional 12th. According to him, he still had a chance, though a little one. Thus, he had to show his best performance, so he could for the first time ever win a position in the season end.

"It may mean that I have to win Paris. I have to give my best tennis, nothing is impossible. I want to play good tennis for the rest of the season", said Haas, who is father to a young daughter.
