4 Former Republican Administrators Raise Concerns over Climate Change

Four former US Environmental Protection Agency administrators have written an op-ed paper. The paper titled as `A Republican Case for Climate Action' is based on the climate change.

They were of the view that climate change is not a matter that has association with politics. It will be better if authorities concerned will start taking the matter of climate change seriously.

It is a high time now the country should take measures in order to have decline in the level of climate change. America should make efforts at global level, they said. The four people who have penned down the paper are William Ruckelshaus, William Kelly, Christine Todd Whitman and Lee Thomas.

"[O]ur world continues to warm, with the last decade the hottest in modern records, and the deep ocean warming faster than the earth's atmosphere. Sea level is rising", said the four administrators.

If timely steps are not taken then arctic sea melting level will increase with passage of time. They have not only revealed about the problem, but they have also talked about the best way to curb the same.

The four administrators were of the view that a market-based approach will be the best option when it comes to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions.
