A number of positive things have taken place on Eurozone economy front and has led to strength of Euro. Majority of European stocks have also witness a rise. Experts were of the view that rise has been witnessed due to rise in German business confidence.
It has been found that the European single currency has seen a rise of 0.4 percent amounting at $1.2982. Not only this, the Stoxx Europe 600 Index also witnessed a rise of 0.1% and Standard & Poor's 500 Index futures, was able to witness a gain less than 0.1%.
Experts have found that Japanese shares have successfully overcome the biggest decline that was cause of downtrend since the 2011 earthquake. Japan's Topix Index (TPX) has witnessed a rise of 0.5%.
It seems that things have been going far better than the expectations of experts. To cite an example, Ifo Institute's business-climate index in Germany, has also witnessed a rise for the first time in three months.
"It's the German economy that is going to be driving the euro zone to the next level of improvement. It's not going to come from anywhere else", said Peter Frank, who is the Global Head of currency strategy at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA, London.
