Paramount Pictures has decided to hold back the premiere event for "Jack Reacher", its new movie starring Tom Cruise, a new report has been claiming. Special screening had been plotted to be occurred at the Southside Works in Pennsylvania, the neighboring state.
"Jack Reacher" is a big-screen edition of "One Shot" novel by Jim Grant, also known as Lee Child. The film moves around a former officer of Army Military Police, who faces an unexpected enemy looking for the fact behind killings that caused five people to die. The movie has been planned to be released on December 21 in the United States.
The reason behind postpone of the premiere is the tragic event that occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut's Newtown. Mass killing has been seen to have happened at the school.
The report finds that the movie makers have delayed the opening planned for tomorrow of the film to honour the victimized families. It has been found that a number of lives have been claimed senselessly.
'In light of today's tragedy in Newtown, Conn., we have decided not to air it. At this time, no decision has been made as to when the episode will air', Syfy said.
