In a move which will facilitate app developers in selling their products to businesses running Windows 10, Microsoft said in a Thursday announcement that app developers can now submit 'paid' apps for inclusion in the Windows Store for Business.
The Windows Store for Business is that version of the online store for Windows 10 which is used by companies for distributing software to their employees over the web. Thus far, the store offered app developers the ability to submit only 'free' apps.
With Microsoft now announcing that 'paid' apps can also be submitted by app developers for the Windows Store for Business, it will now be possible for independent app developers to conveniently get their products in front of big enterprise customers.
Moreover, the inclusion of 'paid' apps in the Windows Store for Business will also enable businesses to easily purchase apps for their employees, and distribute those apps across a number of Windows 10 PCs and tablets.
According to Microsoft, the ability for businesses to purchase apps via the Windows Store for Business is initially being made available only in 35 countries. The company has not yet divulged how it plans to expand the mentioned number in the future.
