Google enables Bluetooth audio streaming for Google Home

Technology and search major Google has officially enabled the eagerly-awaited Bluetooth audio streaming feature for Google Home, Android Police reported.

The Bluetooth audio streaming feature for Google Home feature originally previously attention when the company had announced the innovative smart assistant at Google I/O in May this year.

Back in June, Google enabled the feature inadvertently. However, it seems this time it has been enabled after testing the feature should stay live on Google services.

The enabling of the feature means Google Home users can now stream music, podcasts and streaming services that mayn’t be supported by the service to their speakers at will.

But, it could disappoint those who had been wanting for pristine audio quality because some users have complained about the significant lag over the connection.

The tech giant is already rolling out the update and it will become available worldwide over the next few weeks. One can activate the new feature by going to settings in the Home app, tapping Paired Bluetooth devices and then pairing the device to the Home speaker.
