In a scenario where the government of the nations are trying hard to limit the application of the fossil fuels, some of the Landform's Coal burning power plants are bringing the precious 'wood' in application.
They have been found clearing a wetland forest patch that contains trees that were nourishing on the land for more than a decade. The forced cutting of trees is not in North Carolina, However, it is in Europe. However, the continent is already facing a scarcity of wood.
It doesn't have it in excess to be applied as fuels. Hence the power plant holders in Europe are arranging wood from the US. One of the other reason for the same lies in the fact that there are a large number of restriction in the country regarding the cutting of the wood. But U. S is availing with excessive quantity and that too with minimum restrictions.
However, this vibrant move is helping in providing jobs to some of the localities of America that received a setback in the previous time because of the closure of the mills. But the environmentalist doesn't seems to be appreciating the idea. They believe that washing away large patches of forest lands for retrieving energy is not at all a positive move.
Paul Burby is the owner of one of the firm that sign contracts with professionals to slash out the trees after stuffing the pockets of the owner with a huge sum of money. He said that the logging industry was near to its death as it was close past many years. However, as the demand for the same has grown to a major level in Europe, more trees should be planted to cover up the needs in future.
