A fourth corruption trial involving Ex- Telekom Austria Bosses was started on Thursday.
Former CEO Heinz Sundt and Finance Chief Stefano Colombo of Telekom Austria are accused of selling a property at the half rates of its true value without the actual process.
Both the executives are blamed for selling a building, which had company's key switching centre in Vienna in the year 2006 for just 5.4 million Euros.
If found guilty of the said charges, both the former Telekom Austria Bosses may have to go to jail for up to five years.
"I had no responsibility whatsoever for the real-estate business," said Sundt.
The building was sold out to the Austrian Railways Chief Martin Huber and his wife. Mr. & Mrs. Huber sold out this 19th century building at double the price after a year.
This is the fourth corruption case levied on Telekom Austria. Due to number of corruption cases, Austrian media has even called the company as the political ATM Machine. The other cases opened against the company include bribery and financing.
Sundt, earlier was cleared of any charges due to lack of evidences proving that he had role in manipulating the company's share price in the year 2004.
