UK retailer GameSeek has suggested in a recent listing on its website that the cost of Nintendo's new console -- the Nintendo Switch console -- will be £198.50. The console is scheduled for launch in March 2017.

The listing on the GameSeek website marks the latest Nintendo Switch price update revealed this week.

Despite the fact that some other listings of Nintendo Switch price have emerged online of late, GameSeek has mentioned in a message on its official website that Nintendo fans placing an order for the Switch on its website will get the console for £198.50 even if the cost of the console is increased by Nintendo at launch.

The message by GameSeek reads thus: "With our Pre-order Price Guarantee, you can order now and if the GameSeek price increases between the time you place your order and the release date, you'll be charged the lower price."

In other words, pre-ordering the Nintendo Switch console through GameSeek -- which has also listed, with a disclaimer, the Switch release date for March 17, 2017 -- will effectively guarantee the buyers a set price of less than £200.
