Nintendo Switch release date leaked --- March 17, 2017

The launch date of Nintendo’s forthcoming new gaming console, Nintendo Switch, has recently been leaked online; with a Twitter post revealing that the console will likely be released by Nintendo on March 17, 2017.

The Twitter post disclosing the Nintendo Switch release date -- which will officially be announced by Nintendo at a January briefing -- has come from Laura Kate Dale, who has previously been accurate in revealing the date of the unveiling of the Nintendo Switch trailer last month.

In a recent tweet, Dale said: "Being told March 17th is currently planned Switch launch day in PAL, will release worldwide that same week but not same date all regions."

In a follow-up tweet, Dale also said that the information about the March 17 launch date of Nintendo Switch console has been leaked by the same source who had earlier revealed the console’s “trailer date before it was official.”

Meanwhile, so far as the price of the Nintendo Switch console is concerned, Nintendo had said during the company’s latest Q&A that “we are, in principle, not planning to sell it at a loss;” and added: “We would like a wide variety of consumers to enjoy Nintendo products, and we would also like to think in terms of consumers' expectations for our products.”
