OnePlus 5 to be reportedly one of most powerful Android phones in terms of specifications
OnePlus has already confirmed that OnePlus 5 smartphone will hit the market before the end of this summer, but the company has thus far remained mum over its full specifications. However, some leaked reports suggest what we can expect from the handset from Chinese manufacturer OnePlus. Initial reviews suggest that OnePlus 5 could offer high-end hardware with an affordable price tag.
A newly published report by Geekbuying claims that the OnePlus 5 is going to be one of the most powerful phones in terms of specs.
According to the report, the OnePlus 5 smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, 8GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
It will have the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC Qualcomm processor, the Adreno 540 GPU, a 23-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, two SIM card slots, and 4G LTE connectivity.
The upcoming smartphone will also boast Android 7.1 Nougat OS that will come pre-installed on the device. The company’s OxygenOS will be shipped on top of Android 7.1 Nougat OS.
Third-party Chinese resellers like GearBest have also listed the OnePlus 5 ahead of its official launch. However, customers should take such information with a pinch of salt as information based on leaked reports could be inaccurate in certain cases.
